A loving, professional family in Clovelly are seeking a bright, organized, and responsible nanny to assist with the afternoon routines of their two active children aged 10 and 13 years.An ideal nanny would be experienced and show initiative. A nanny that is active and creative and genuinely interested in engaging in conversation and activities to promote education, growth, and development.The family is looking for someone who is honest, safe, and reliable and able to confidently transport and accompany their children from school and to activities, as well as providing care throughout the afternoon and evening.There is a family car available for use if required.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:To care for the childrenFollow the children's routinesEngage in age-appropriate activitiesTransport and accompany the children from school and to organized activitiesAssist with light household tasks including laundry and general tidyingCook simple family mealsAssist with homework if requiredRun occasional errands and light grocery shopWalk the dog if time permitsStart Date: ASAPContract Length: 12 months + long termPay: $45 per hour including tax and superThe days and normal hours are: 5 days – 25 hours per weekMonday – Friday 2pm – 7pmHours are flexible providing school pick up is included.Extra hours may be required during school holidays.The family's expectations from their nanny are:3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child careHave a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)Have a current Working with Children CheckDisplay strong communication skills and speak EnglishUp to date with all vaccinationsFull Drivers LicenseAn interest in sport and music a bonusTutoring experience a bonusJob Reference: LLC149Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form.
