Your focus will include:
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets during all project phases, from conceptual design to construction completion. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to guide project decision-making. Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with approved financial parameters. Track and report on cost variations, ensuring timely identification and resolution of budget overruns. Lead value engineering exercises to optimise project costs without compromising design integrity or compliance. Prepare cost breakdowns and tender documents for contractor bidding processes. Review and evaluate contractor and supplier bids, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness. Provide recommendations on procurement strategies and contract negotiations. Work closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to align cost planning with project goals and requirements. What you will bring to the team:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 8–10 years of experience in cost planning or quantity surveying, with at least 5 years specialising in healthcare construction projects (e.g., hospitals, clinics, outpatient facilities). Proven ability to manage budgets for large-scale and complex projects effectively. Strong understanding of healthcare construction requirements, including infection control, medical equipment integration, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Procore) and financial modelling tools. Clough's people enjoy:
