Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training, and business opportunities.
We are currently searching for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Team on Project Ceres in Perth. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating design, procurement, and construction elements for work packages on the Project. The Senior Project Engineers will also play a key role in collaborating with all levels of management across the project, as well as interfacing with Client and other key external stakeholder representatives. The role will be initially based in the Perth Head Office but will transition to a FIFO roster (20:8) as construction activities ramp-up in 2025, and project site allowance (uplift) will apply.

Ensuring performance and delivery of engineering services to support project outcomes against agreed project budgets and schedules. Providing the project with ongoing engineering support while monitoring compliance with company policies and design requirements. Coordination of a variety of stakeholders including the Project Engineering team, Site Supervision, Subcontractors, Client, and Vendors to deliver packages of work. Preparing technical specifications for equipment and package procurement. Participation in the completion of construction work on site, including involvement with Installation Test Records and close-out of punch list items. Contribute to a positive safety culture. What you will bring to the team: - Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical / Piping Engineering
- Experience delivering engineering and construction packages such as cooling towers, desalination plants, tanks, etc.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API620, API 650, etc.
- A solutions-driven attitude with a strong focus on achieving results in a safe and timely manner.
- Knowledge of Project Management – Cost, Planning Reporting
- Previous experience in a site-based role within Engineering/Construction environment.
- Ability to work on a FIFO roster of 20:8 when the role transitions to site.
