You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, as well as managing on-premises infrastructure. To be successful in this role, you must have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, traditional on-premises infrastructure, backup strategies, networking, and cybersecurity risks associated to infrastructure.In this role, you'll be: ensuring Cloud and Infrastructure Solutions align with Alinta business and technology strategies as they evolve. This includes deploying and maintaining on-premises systems and infrastructure.developing and implementing cloud architectural standards while delivering projects to establish new Cloud Services, migrating workloads onto new Cloud Platforms, and providing support for application integrationdelivering Cloud Service Operations through self-management, automation, proactive incident investigation, and continual utilization of management, monitoring, and maintenance tools for ongoing service enhancements.building solid relationships with various internal teams such as the Enterprise Technology Team, Cloud/Systems Services Team and external third-party application consultants. Ideally, you'll bring to the role: Degree or relevant industry certifications within Computer Science or Information Technology coupled with extensive experience working as a Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer, ideally with a focus on Azure, AWS, and on-premises infrastructure management (gained within a highly regulated industry)Deep technical knowledge of Cloud & Systems Service technologies and architecture principles, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and orchestrationRelevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
