About the Role: Due to strong growth and a pipeline of client projects, we are currently looking for suitably cleared and experienced Cloud Platform Engineers, or individuals eligible to hold a security clearance, to work with our Defence clients across several projects and disciplines.
In this role, you will undertake tasks such as but not limited to:
Develop, maintain, and optimise cloud infrastructure for a range of projects utilising AWS and Azure.Interacting with clients and collaborating with a passionate team of data scientists and software engineers, to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions to meet client needs.Providing ongoing enhancements, maintenance and support in existing systems and platforms.As part of the Engineering team, you will participate in release and sprint planning sessions, daily stand-up meetings, sprint demos, retrospectives, story grooming sessions, and any other Kanban/Scrum-related meetings.
These roles are hybrid with three days onsite at our city office and two days offsite.
In addition, part-time positions will be considered.
What we are looking for: Must be an Australian Citizen willing to obtain or currently holds a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related discipline.Experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure.Experience with a well-known cloud provider and the desire to work with AWS or Azure.Understanding of cloud architecture best practices (a certification is highly desirable).Understanding of DevSecOps best practices.Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration technologies (e.g.
Kubernetes).What is desirable: Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g.
Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, etc.
).Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g.
GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps Server, etc.
).Exposure to software package management tools (e.g.
Docker, Podman, NuGet, crates, pip, etc.
