Cloud Observability Manager (Azure) - Sydney - WFH/Hybrid - Permanent Cloud Observability Manager (Azure) to lead our observability and performance observability on the Azure cloud platform.
Key Responsibilities:Observability Framework Design and Implementation
Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive observability layer across our technology stack, integrating key systems for real-time visibility.Monitoring and Incident Response
Establish automated monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect anomalies and performance issues.Collaboration with External Partners
Work with external vendors and partners to deploy observability solutions, ensuring seamless integration with Azure and third-party SaaS platforms.
Lead vendor performance reviews, ensuring third-party observability tools meet business requirements and align with contractual SLAs.Tooling and Automation
Select, implement, and manage observability tools like Dynatrace and Azure Monitor to provide comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and reporting capabilities.
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) pipelines to automate observability processes and ensure scalability of monitoring setups.Data-Driven Insights and Continuous Improvement
Drive continuous improvement by introducing new tools and methodologies to optimize performance monitoring and enhance system reliability.Required Experience:10+ years of experience in infrastructure and cloud platform/Monitoring.Proven experience optimizing the performance of SaaS platforms and Azure cloud environments, ensuring optimal service delivery and scalability for enterprise applications.Strong hands-on expertise with cloud performance monitoring and optimization tools, such as Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, and SolarWinds, for in-depth performance analysis and issue resolution.Experience working with external vendors and partners.Solid background in designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions, particularly within Azure, to meet business requirements and optimize system efficiency.Expert knowledge of Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and advanced performance tuning techniques to drive system reliability and high availability.About Allura Partners
