CO+I is responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability.Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide.We are looking for an experienced Network Peering Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the global Internet ecosystem, specifically in Asia.You will be responsible for managing peer relationships and Internet Exchanges, negotiating peering interconnections, optimizing traffic profiles, and managing costs with Internet Exchange providers.ResponsibilitiesMaintain healthy relationships with established peers and develop relationships with potential strategic peers.Manage IX (Internet Exchange) relationships and contracts to ensure optimal connectivity and performance.Formulate, execute, and manage strategies to keep traffic localized to optimize cost and performance.Represent the organization's interest in developing internet ecosystem policy.
