Consultants (Information & Communication Technology)We are partnering with an innovative organization on a high-profile program aimed at advancing military systems within Australia's Defence industry.
This program offers an exciting opportunity for skilled Azure Engineers, VMware Engineers, and DevSecOps Engineers to join a critical Defence project while expanding their careers in this highly specialised field.About the Roles:We are seeking multiple contractors across three distinct areas of expertise.
Candidates will join the team in roles suited to their experience and background, ranging from junior to senior engineers.
Successful candidates will contribute to the technical development and operational support of advanced Defence systems and solutions.1.
Azure EngineersExpertise in Azure Cloud architecture and services such as virtual networks, security, and identity managementProficiency in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Azure-based applications and infrastructureStrong understanding of cloud security best practices and experience in regulated or secure environments (Defence experience preferred)Familiarity with automation scripting (ARM templates, PowerShell, Ansible) for Azure infrastructure2.
VMware EngineersExtensive experience with VMware virtualization technologies including vSphere, NSX, and HorizonProven ability to configure and manage VMware clusters and optimize virtualized environments for performance and securityFamiliarity with VMware Cloud Foundation and deployment in air-gapped networks (desirable)Strong troubleshooting skills in virtualized environments, ideally within regulated or Defence settings3.
DevSecOps EngineersIn-depth knowledge of DevSecOps practices, focusing on integrating security throughout the software development lifecycleExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and AnsibleStrong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and DockerFamiliarity with security monitoring and vulnerability management tools in cloud or hybrid environmentsThese requirements will not be going forward until January/February next year.
