You'll work closely with our Senior Cloud Engineers and cross-functional teams to help ensure that our cloud systems are highly reliable, secure, and efficient.
This is an opportunity to grow your skills in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and automation while working with cutting-edge technologies.
You'll assist in managing the infrastructure for high availability and scalability, contribute to maintaining automated deployment pipelines, and help monitor and secure our systems.
You should be well-versed in the AWS ecosystem and have a strong command of Kubernetes and Docker.
It's also critical that you have experience with Infrastructure as Code; we prefer someone who's familiar with Pulumi, but Terraform experience is also great.
Bonus points if you have some experience in software development, especially with TypeScript/JavaScript.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure systemsDevelop and maintain backup procedures to ensure data integrity and system availabilityCreate and manage cloud infrastructure ensuring consistency and repeatability in cloud deploymentsAssist in the design and maintenance of automated software development and deployment pipelinesEnsure cloud infrastructure complies with company policies and industry regulations (e.g., confidentiality, GDPR, privacy regulations, and others applicable)Monitor system performance and collaborate with senior engineers to resolve issues or respond to alertsContribute to security audits, including software patching and version updatesDevelop and update documentation for cloud operations and infrastructureTroubleshoot issues in cloud systems and containerized environmentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support software optimisation and system improvementsStay informed on new technologies and industry trends, applying best practices to your workSkills & QualificationsExperience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure administration, and/or software developmentProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellFamiliarity with automation tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormationStrong commercial experience maintaining containerisation technologies such as Docker and KubernetesStrong commercial experience of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudSound knowledge of secure networking and access control measuresExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesSelf-motivated with the ability to work in a highly autonomous environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the ability to work effectively across time zonesDemonstrated ability to foster positive team dynamics, actively participating in team meetings, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solvingExperience in mentoring or supporting team members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvementAre you a Dabbler?A Dabbler's attitude is paramount, as the right person will be able to learn quickly and adapt to any skill gaps.
