About the role:

Supporting a user base of c. 2,000 people across the Australian region, this position is vital for architecting robust, secure, and scalable cloud and networking solutions. You will collaborate with cross functional teams and 3rd party providers to help steer new and improved solutions both on-premise and in the cloud. You'll be well versed in Infrastructure administration and AWS architecture making improvements and recommendations to meet the future needs of the business.

Some ongoing / future state requirement;
Datacenter relocation & consolidation – upgrading backup solution and virtualisation stackReview and configure monitoring solution for existing SD-WAN networkAdoption and deployment of IaC to aid future container buildsReview and optimise existing cloud fleet by rightsizing workloads as required About you:

The successful Engineer can fulfil duties across the following;

Proven experience re-architecting on-premise & cloud solutions in AWS and/or AzureAbility to evaluable and enhance security measures in AWS or affiliated public cloudsExperience supporting MPLS and SD-WAN technologies across Cisco Viptela, MerakiStrong collaborative skills with both internal teams and large 3rd party providersGeneral interest and appetite to learn and deploy IaC using tools like Terraform or otherwiseProficient networking skills to support and optimise balanced workloads on-prem and cloud basedExperience supporting the Microsoft (O365, M365) stack as it relates to security and identity of accountsIf this role sounds like you, please apply directly.
