CLOUD ENGINEER
Emanate Technology has been selected to partner with a Federal Government Intelligence Agency in supplying teams of skilled resources based in Canberra, ACT.
These roles will support the continued growth of this agency on their mission of protecting Australian people.
The roles sit across multiple skills compromising of System, Cloud and Data engineering across a variety of SFIA levels.
Due to the nature of the client, all roles require you to be an AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN and hold an AGSVA security clearance.
All work will be onsite in Canberra with no remote options.

Key Responsibilities/Duties: Manage and administer hybrid cloud environments, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and securityDesign, develop, and implement highly available, multi-tenant solutionsAnalyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvementsMigrate existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutionsManage security and access controls of cloud-based solutionsDevelop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging cloud native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deploymentsDevelop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data lossSupport cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernizedEnsure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards
Qualifications/Experience: Minimum three years of Cloud experience involving design, deployment, configuration and optimisationSeveral years of experience with IaaS and PaaS solutionsProven experience in the design and operation of medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases and application systemsProven experience in IaC development such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, Azure ARM, and KubernetesProven experience scripting with Perl, Python and PowerShellProven experience with GIT to perform source code managementProven experience across a wide range of IT skills including backups, storage, systems administration, data protection, information security and CI/CD toolingProven leadership experience, with the ability to teach and mentor teammatesDesirables: TSPV security clearance is HIGHLY desirableProven experience in a similar roleAbility to work autonomously
