About The Role:
The Cloud Developer is a member of the ICT Applications Team and also works closely with the members of the Infrastructure Support team. This includes:
Undertaking duties which require the development of new methods using specific knowledge as it applies to work assignments. Analysing the business requirements and translating them into workable technical solutions. Integrating existing on-premises systems with new cloud-based solutions. Providing technical support, advice, and assistance in maintaining on-premises as well as cloud-based systems. A willingness to identify and learn relevant emerging skills and techniques and to apply these to the Institute's technical environment. We are excited about you because you have:
A degree level qualification and postgraduate qualification. 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on major Cloud Service Providers including Azure and AWS platforms. Computer programming skills and adequate knowledge of computer languages, C# / .NET Core, Java, Python, API programming, etc., and database SQL. Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Azure & AWS Cloud experience. We can offer you:
