About the Position Are you passionate about cloud technology and data integration? Join our dynamic Corporate Information Services team as a Cloud Data Specialist! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of managing our Azure cloud integrations and data services, ensuring seamless data flow and supporting our strategic business goals.
You'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, and make a significant impact on our organization's efficiency and productivity. Reporting directly to the Applications and Data Lead, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our data solutions.
Key Responsibilities Manage Azure cloud integrations and data services Design, develop, and maintain API integration solutions Design, develop and maintain data cleansing pipelines and data warehousing solutions within the Microsoft Fabric Data Platform Provide expert advice, mentoring, and support to the Application and Data Services team Collaborate with third-party service providers for API integration Monitor and troubleshoot API performance and security issues Document API specifications and integration processes About You The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or demonstrated relevant experience Certificates in Azure Data Fundamentals and Azure Data Engineer Associate Strong understanding of data models, data structures, and data quality techniques Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala Familiarity with C#, .NET, APIs, Postman, RESTful services, SFTP, and OAuth2.0 Excellent analytical skills and experience in business and systems analysis Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric Data Platform Knowledge of data security and compliance with relevant regulations (Privacy Act 1988, Australian Privacy Principles) What We Offer The City offers some great benefits including flexibility in when and where you work to ensure a work-life balance.
