Join our dynamic Corporate Information Services team as a Cloud Data Specialist!
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of managing our Azure cloud integrations and data services, ensuring seamless data flow and supporting our strategic business goals.You'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, and make a significant impact on our organization's efficiency and productivity.
Reporting directly to the Applications and Data Lead, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our data solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage Azure cloud integrations and data servicesDesign, develop, and maintain API integration solutionsDesign, develop and maintain data cleansing pipelines and data warehousing solutions within the Microsoft Fabric Data PlatformProvide expert advice, mentoring, and support to the Application and Data Services teamCollaborate with third-party service providers for API integrationMonitor and troubleshoot API performance and security issuesDocument API specifications and integration processesAbout YouThe following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
Please apply, all applications will be considered.Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or demonstrated relevant experienceCertificates in Azure Data Fundamentals and Azure Data Engineer AssociateStrong understanding of data models, data structures, and data quality techniquesExperience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, or ScalaFamiliarity with C#, .NET, APIs, Postman, RESTful services, SFTP, and OAuth2.0Excellent analytical skills and experience in business and systems analysisKnowledge of Microsoft Fabric Data PlatformKnowledge of data security and compliance with relevant regulations (Privacy Act 1988, Australian Privacy Principles)What We OfferThe City offers some great benefits including flexibility in when and where you work to ensure a work-life balance.
