About the Role – Cloud Data ArchitectWe are seeking a Cloud Data Architect who is passionate and curious about data, committed to always delivering value, invested in continuous learning, and excited to be part of a knowledgeable, forward-thinking team.
As a DataDiver Cloud Data Architect, you will be responsible for:
Designing and implementing cloud solutions for our clients and our products. Assessing and improve existing cloud and data systems and providing recommendations for enhancements and optimisations. Ensuring that cybersecurity measures are integrated into all cloud and data-related solutions and products. Developing and maintaining data architecture frameworks, including data modelling, integration, and governance. Providing architecture and security assurance across our solution designs and implementations. Supporting our teams with technical leadership and guidance advice, insights and capability uplift re cloud and data security protocols. A proven track record of standing up and designing new Cloud environments ("Greenfields") for customers based on industry best practice including networking, security, privacy, cybersecurity, resource management, monitoring, and cost management. Your expertise will help us ensure that we deliverable leading value driven solutions that are scalable and secure.
About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have:
6+ years' business or consulting experience. 6+ years' experience in cloud architecture, data architecture, data modelling, and database management. 6+ years' experience in using cloud platforms, ranging from Azure, Snowflake, AWS and GCP, through to Kubernetes, Docker and similar. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices and data security regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, Essential Eight etc). Proficiency in relevant programming languages and cloud technologies. Experience with DevOps practices and tools. The ability to interpret technical requirements and translate into technical solutions and architectures. Experience of data management frameworks. The ability to think "outside the box". Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage conflicting priorities. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to lead and manage engagements through to the delivery of business value. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or Solutions Architect, with a strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
