The Head of House is a pivotal role in the success of Grammar students meeting their pastoral and wellbeing needs.
In recognition of the complexity of this work, we are the only school in Tasmania to offer a unique load of 0.5FTE teaching load and 0.5FTE release time.

Our current Head of House is looking to explore new professional opportunities and potential further study.
Under her leadership, Roff House has flourished, and we are now seeking an outstanding individual to lead and nurture the student wellbeing and leadership that are central to our School's values.

The opportunity As the Head of House, you will lead a House team of Tutors, who also receive time recognition in teaching loads for their support of the House program.
You will teach our explicit wellbeing curriculum to Grades 8-10, contributing to our mission of being Tasmania's leading wellbeing school.

This is an essential wellbeing leadership position offering a balance of administrative duties and engaging with students, the chance to manage both the house efficiently and connect personally with students.

Competitive Salary: $120,000 – $128,000 per annum, based on experience.
Permanent Role: Secure a long-term teaching position with an additional responsibility 5-year leadership term.
