The headspace program offers an "open door", easily accessible, early intervention service for young people wishing to obtain support for mental health or substance use issues. The headspace Early Psychosis program is a specialist service which focuses on providing comprehensive services to support young people who are at risk of developing a psychotic illness, or those who have experienced a first episode of psychosis.Full-time position with headspace Mount Druitt + some Work from Home$37.35 per hour + Super + Generous salary packaging benefit up to $18,550Supportive multi-disciplinary team with ongoing trainingRole Overview:This is a wonderful opportunity for a Junior Clinician, who is not yet experienced enough to hold a high case load of young people with complex mental health concerns, including florid symptoms of psychosis, to supplement and support existing clinicians in their roles as needed.This transitional role will initially begin with case management duties that include but are not limited to, assisting with ongoing referrals and graduations from the program, liaising with external stakeholders, supporting the TL with file requests/subpoenas, and acting as a second in clinical appointments.
