Clinician (Clinical Counselor) Lead

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Clinician (Clinical Counselor) Lead to join our medical team. As a member of our medical team, you will be delivering high-quality healthcare services to children and their families.
Job Locations: Big Springs Texas, Midland Texas, and Donna Texas.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Perform initial evaluations of client needs and develop customized treatment plans.Educate staff and clients on stress and trauma coping mechanisms.Provide individuals with the resources they need to reach personal goals.Monitor client progress and modify their treatment plans as needed.Requirements: Education: Master's or doctoral degree in clinical mental health counseling, counseling, social work, family counseling, psychology, human services, or a related field, from a program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).License: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is preferred, but not required, unless required by state law.Certifications: Must hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor (NCC), National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), certifications preferred.Experience: Three (3)+ years of current, demonstrated experience as a facility Mental Health Service Chief or Associate Chief of Staff for Mental Health, Mental Health Discipline Lead (e.g., Psychiatry, Psychology, or Social Work Chief or Lead, etc.), or Program Manager of a Mental Health Program.Type of Contract: W-2 or 1099Hours per week: 40 per week (this could alter pending on operational needs)Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision, 401K plan, 401K matching, paid holidays, paid time off.Housing and Travel: Economy class flight.Our selection process will involve assessing your qualifications and experience and ensuring your profile is complete as early as possible in the recruiting phase.
