Clinician and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner – BathurstClinician and Family Disputes Resolution PractitionerBathurst NSW 2795Salary: $96,000 to $111,000 + Super + Salary PackagingAbout the RoleWe are seeking an individual with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to work with our supportive and dedicated team to provide a professional service for our clients.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesThe Clinician will provide therapeutic counselling services to individuals, adults, couples, children and families as well as undertaking mediation to reach resolution of specific disputes centred on interpersonal relationships.Support the wider organisational values, ethos and mission whilst maintaining a community-centred focus within their role and serviceSkills and ExperienceAccredited education and training in psychology, social work, counselling, mental health or a similar discipline leading to a professional qualification that is recognised in AustraliaMembership with a relevant professional body (such as AASW, APHRA, PACFA)Experience and skills in provision direct of clinical services. Demonstrable experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults to address issues such as emotional and psychological trauma, anxiety, depression, life-stage issues, behavioural problems etc.Demonstrable ability in implementing intervention strategies based on sound theoretical frameworks.Experience and demonstrable skills in running group programmes with early intervention and wellbeing promotion focusDemonstrable experience and ability in liaising and working with stakeholders such as referring agenciesSkills and experience in psychometric assessment of children (subject to qualifications)Experience in working with couples and families within a relationship frameworkSkills and experience in psychosocial assessment, case formulation, and intervention planning.Demonstrable experience in working with:People in a separation contextA sensitivity to the needs of people of different ethnic, linguistic, cultural, relationship orientation and religious backgroundsThe special needs of people with disability11.
