#530924 Clinical Trials Data Manager Department of Medical Oncology Calvary Mater Newcastle Fixed Term Full-Time (3 Years) Salary Classification: Administration Officer Level 4, Year 1-2Remuneration: $36.45-$37.29 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options + RDO'sTHE ROLE: The Clinical Trial Data Manager is responsible for the data entry of specific trials designated to them.
The Data Manager is expected to:
Manage the data entry as per the study requirementsCoordinate with trial coordinators and investigators to ensure timely accurate data entrySupport the trial team with general administrative dutiesCommunicate effectively with the trial team, department, trial sponsors, supporting departments within the hospital, and relevant external parties.Maintain effective and efficient processes that ensure quality research and data integritySupport the trial team and department researchers with trial-related administrative dutiesDUTIES: Manage data entryCoordinate with trial coordinators and investigators to ensure timely data entrySupport the trial team with general administrative dutiesAssist the Clinical Trial laboratory technician with trial specimen processing in times of high activity or leave.ABOUT YOU: Qualification in data management, health, or science, or a combination of qualifications and experience.Knowledge of medical terminology with the ability to interpret medical records for required information and resultsAble to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity.Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated effective interpersonal and organisational skills, including time management.Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Demonstrated effective computer skills in spreadsheets, databases, and word processing packages.Demonstrated ability to effectively problem-solve, show initiative, and execute sound judgement.For further information please contact Kim Adler, Trials Unit Manager on email: ****** WHY JOIN US?
