CLINICAL TRIAL COORDINATOR Fixed Term - Part Time We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing clinical trials team!
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinical trials team as a Clinical Trial Coordinator at our Wonthaggi Campus. The Clinical Trial Coordinator is a key member of our research team contributing to the successful execution of clinical trials within the department.

About the Role The Clinical Trial Coordinator: 
Liaises between the principal investigator, Human Research Ethics Committee, and Research Governance Officer and works collaboratively with the governing body, clinical and non-clinical managers, clinicians, patients, trial participants, consumers and sponsors in the delivery of clinical trials.  Ensures the highest standard of care is delivered to all clinical trial participants in partnership with members of the multidisciplinary and research teams. Collects and manages research data Coordinates and manages concurrent clinical trials Maintains ethics and governance approvals Manages regulatory documentation Ensures all clinical trials are performed in accordance with the study protocol and in line with regulatory, ethical and legal requirements as defined by; Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP), the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), the NHMRC Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research, and the applicable state/federal privacy laws, as well as BCH policies and standard operating procedures.   About You You must also meet the following requirements:
Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Minimum of 3 years nursing experience Appropriate level of expertise gained from a combination of experience and or training Demonstrated ability to build and maintain working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member as well as the ability to exercise high levels of independence, judgement and initiative Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills Highly developed planning and organisational skills, with experience setting priorities, implementing improvements and meeting deadlines whilst working under pressure A demonstrated understanding of confidentiality, privacy and information handling principles A demonstrated ability to work with sensitive information and maintain discretion at all times Ability to be responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect clinical-trial-related care of patients and associated data collection for concurrent clinical trial research studies undertaken in the department What's in it for you?
