An exciting opportunity as a Clinical Territory Manager based in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT) awaits you to join our inclusive and collaborative Diabetes team at Medtronic, recognized as a Great Place to Work in Australia.
At Medtronic, the Diabetes Operating Unit is dedicated to improving the lives of those within the global diabetes community. Medtronic Diabetes ANZ has been growing consistently, with a focus on rapidly bringing new innovations and technology to Australia to help people living with Type One Diabetes.
We are offering a hybrid working arrangement. You will receive comprehensive product training, gaining invaluable experience in promoting innovative products within the Diabetes sector with both patients and clinicians.
As a Clinical Territory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving clinical educational awareness of our Diabetes portfolio in ACT to drive growth and market share for our portfolio, as well as deliver a 5-star customer experience within our patient community.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Foster and develop partnerships with key health care professionals within the territoryDevelop and maintain sound clinical knowledge of the diabetes product portfolio to educate key stakeholders as well as help the journey to technology for patientsBe a partner for patients throughout their technology journey including before sale educating what they product is capable of, during the sale with sound education and after sale with effective follow up to ensure an excellent patient experienceAchieve sales revenue and growth targets for assigned territoryLead, develop & manage territory strategy to achieve quarterly and annual AOP TargetsDrive growth by identifying new and existing business opportunities, developing creative solutions to overcome barriers and relationships to enable private pathways and other growth opportunitiesTravel within the assigned region, as well as other regions as requiredRequired Knowledge and Experience:Minimum Bachelor's Degree is requiredMinimum 3 years of experience within the Medical Device, pharmaceutical or clinical healthcare (clinical educator, dietician, nursing), preferably in the Diabetes spaceSales experience &/or sales capability in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth, or knowledge of account planning, territory management and forecasting in devices or healthcare industryProven clinical and technical knowledge in Diabetes is desirableStrong ability to build and nurture strong clinical and business relationships with customersUnderstanding of internal workings of hospitals/departments e.g. clinics, patients and key influencersProactiveness and adaptability with the confident ability to navigate a changing environmentIs intellectually curious and understands the responsibility of continuous learning and willingness to learn and be coachedWillingness to travel within the assigned region, as well as other regions as requiredMaintain a valid driver's licensePhysical Job Requirements
