Clinical Care Team Leader | Full Time | Rosebud About the role Reporting directly to the Clinical Care Manager and General Manager, the Clinical Care Team Leader is responsible for providing and coordinating resident care, supervising care staff, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clinical team.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the clinical and allied health services under the direction of the Clinical Care ManagerCoordinate and evaluate individual resident care within the scope of practice and ensure it aligns with Regis Aged Care policies and proceduresConduct staff competency assessments and contribute to staff trainingEnsure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation, including care plans, clinical assessments, and progress notesLiaise with the Clinical Care Manager to ensure resident care outcomes are metProvide person-centered resident care, prioritizing social, emotional, spiritual, and recreational needsMaintain high standards of care management and nursing interventionsMonitor medication management and assist with 24-hour progress notes reviewPromote harmonious interpersonal relations with residents, families, and staffModel and actively support the Regis value proposition: living with support and upholding our core values.About You Current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an RN with no conditionsExperience in an aged care lead role (residential or community) is preferredKnowledge and experience in clinical services in aged careSound knowledge and understanding of the AN-ACC funding systemExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong knowledge of workplace health & safety, infection control, and manual handlingPositive attitude towards working with the elderlyFamiliarity with relevant laws, acts, regulations, and codes of practiceFirst aid certificate (advantageous)Frontline management certificate (advantageous)To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply a NDIS worker screening clearance, flu vaccinations, and certification proof.
