The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Team Coordinator (Clinical Response Unit) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide expert level clinical knowledge, education and advice in emergency codes Provide a 24hr nursing lead role in all internal emergency code activations Provide support and leadership ensuring staff are provided with the opportunity to participate in a guided debrief session Hold advanced skills and knowledge in adverse behaviour management About you
To be successful in this position you will require: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits

Permanent part time (56 hrs p.f.) Base salary ranging from $66.85 - $72.58 per hour About Us
The Clinical Response Unit is a cross-campus model covering Robina Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital. The team provides clinical mentorship and support to medical and nursing clinicians after hours, clinical leadership at code blue and code black activations 24/7 as well as recognition and response to the at-risk and deteriorating patients.
