The Medical Service Group is currently seeking applications from Senior Pharmacists with varied experience to fill future vacancies within the Pharmacy Department.
The Townsville University Hospital's Pharmacy provides responsible, safe, effective and economical distribution and use of medications in the hospital environment.
This Clinical Talent Pool will assess applications as they are reviewed, and successful candidates will be notified of available vacancies as they arise.

The Senior Pharmacists will:
Deliver a high level of professional client focused pharmacy service and leadership within an evidence-based, quality, and multidisciplinary health care environment during periods of recreation or secondment within the Pharmacy's Women's, Children's and ICU Team, which may include the Paediatrics ward and/or Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).Promote safe, effective, and efficient use of medicines in keeping with the department's goals and objectives and mission statements for Townsville University Hospital and Health Service.What the Townsville Hospital and Health Service has to offer:
Generous remuneration package value up to $152,775 p.a.
comprising:Salary range of $4769.60 to $5132.40 p.f.
or $62.75 to $67.53 p.h.

Role Requirements:
Proof of qualification (Bachelor of Pharmacy) and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).A health-related post-graduate qualification and/or enrolment in the SHPA residency program are desirable.This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.Probation period may apply.Pre-employment checks will be conducted.Please refer to the Role Description for further details.
