The SWH Biomedical Engineering department is responsible for software systems that interface with medical equipment at SWH and across the SW region.
The Clinical Systems Engineer will be responsible for these systems, including:DocumentationMaintenanceClinical supportSecurityPosition overviewFull-time (80 hours per fortnight), On-going positionMonthly Accrued Day offWarrnambool CampusBiomed Engineer Class 3Salary Range: $89,396.00 pro rata, plus superannuationWhat you bringThe successful applicant will demonstrate a strong focus on the needs of the organisation, the users, and ultimately the patients when delivering systems and implementing system changes.
A degree in science or engineering, with a specialisation in biomedical engineering, medical IT, or a related field, is preferred.
Alternatively, relevant certifications such as Cisco Network Certification may be considered in place of a formal degree.
A strong background in network IT, combined with experience in biomedical systems, is essential.
Candidates should be familiar with industry standards such as AS/NZS 3551, AS/NZS 3003, IEC 60601, and ISO 14791.
