This role is a critical support for our Medical, Nursing and Clinical services teams to connect and deliver better health access and outcomes for regional, rural and remote communities.
The Clinical Systems Application Specialist is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable operation of applications and technology that support RFDS' critical clinical business systems. It is essential to establish and strengthen strong relationships with key stakeholders to effectively manage incidents, requests and problems related to clinical systems. You will support:
Incident and problem managementSystem availability and capacity managementConfiguration Release and Change ManagementThe Clinical Systems Application Specialist is a permanent full-time role based in Brisbane. The Digital & Technology team offers hybrid working arrangements with a mixture of home and office work.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an application support specialist who is a team player, communicates openly and confidently with all stakeholders, and works collaboratively with the wider RFDS team. In addition, you will have formal qualifications in Information Technology or a closely related field, and you will demonstrate:
Complex problem-solving skills and ability to explain technical issues and solutions in easy-to-understand languageExperience implementing and supporting clinical business systemsExperience supporting clinical systems SQL databases and industry-standard messaging technologiesSupporting both front and back (end to end) components of our Clinical applicationsThe ability to export & review application log filesHands-on experience with scripting and automation toolsExperience with ITSM Ticket Management, including queue management and triageIt is highly regarded to have Application support experience in Best Practice, Medical Director, Titanium, Sidexis and Secure Messaging applications for clinical systems.
