As the Clinical Specialist, Neuromodulation, you will provide clinical and technical support for a range of Neuromodulation products. This support is required during implants, patient clinics, technical troubleshooting, and other general assistance to the sales team and their customers.
This role is responsible for supporting the South Australia region and reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager – Neuromodulation – South.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR? Provide superior day-to-day field clinical support, including patient interactions, patient education, programming of Boston devices, and patient follow-up, plus technical/application and education support, site management, and coordination.Build strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and identify potential new business opportunities in the assigned state.Successfully complete formal neuromodulation training program, apply these skills in the field, and maintain a high level of technical and market knowledge on an ongoing basis.Understand and identify customer needs in your state, including practices and policies, as well as identify any competitor activities.Participate and provide assistance in relevant tender processes.Complete relevant administration including reporting, stock validations, and management, as well as database management and latitude remote monitoring support.Attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.Complete market analysis and regular reporting as required.Be available to support the broader ANZ NEUROMODULATION business on an as-needs basis.Maintain all company assets, including assigned inventory, in good order and in accordance with BSC audit and process requirements.KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS Product/Technical Knowledge Successfully complete all relevant Neuromodulation training.Develop in-depth knowledge of Neuromodulation devices and treatment applications.Proactively keep up to date with technical knowledge in Neuromodulation and procedures.Relationship Building Build and maintain effective networks that add value in achieving work-related goals.Skilled in building rapport with a wide variety of individuals.Understand the balance between taking time to build rapport and achieving objectives set.Work effectively and collaboratively within the team environment.Organisation & Reporting Maintain well-organised materials, files, systems, and reports.Plan and prioritise territory activity.Ensure all parts of a job are completed in full, within deadlines, including follow-up plans and paperwork.Results Focused Have a results-oriented mindset.Measure performance and seek feedback for self-development.Demonstrate resilience and have a strong sense of urgency.Recognise and act on opportunities.Maintain a flexible approach to meet goals.Experience Previous clinical case experience within an operative environment desired.Strong technical and clinical skills.Proven experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.Proven ability to absorb complex technical information and apply this knowledge in the field.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous clinical case experience within Neuromodulation is preferred.Strong technical and clinical skills are preferred.Proven experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.Proven ability to absorb complex technical information and apply this knowledge in the field.Tertiary qualifications in preferred disciplines including biomedical engineering and science-related disciplines.Ability to travel locally, interstate, and internationally.Requisition ID: 596173
