Job Description
In this dynamic role, you'll coordinate and lead our clinical services, providing essential guidance and support to a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Health Workers, and Clinical Students. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality care, fostering a collaborative and positive work culture, and upholding the standards of our health service.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Coordination: Oversee daily clinical operations, providing mentorship and performance support to ensure staff work effectively within their scope of practice. Quality & Compliance: Monitor adherence to clinical guidelines, infection control practices, and regulatory standards, contributing to quality improvement and maintaining accreditation status. Training & Development: Identify training needs, coordinate professional development, and ensure the team meets ongoing competency requirements. Data & Reporting: Manage clinical data collection and reporting for funding, helping to drive informed decision-making and improve service outcomes. Health Promotion: Work with health promotion teams to create impactful educational materials and community health programs. Why Join Us? Skills: Strong people management, clinical skills, and exceptional communication abilities (both written and verbal). Technical Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel; willingness to learn our service's software. Residency Requirement: Must be an Australian resident for working purposes; unfortunately, no visa sponsorship is available for this role.
