Job Title: Clinical Services Manager Sales Manager/Supervisor: National Sales Manager Status: Field Training Position Overview: The Clinical Services Manager (CSM) will work in conjunction with the Territory Manager, Customer Care team, and Market Access team to meet the commercial and clinical needs in their territory for the purpose of increasing referrals and sustaining patients on product. To also conduct Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) Program calls to Insulet's customers and gather consented data. Responsibilities: Promotes the benefits of insulin pump therapy and sells Omnipod Insulin Management System to providers and patients in group and/or individual sessions or as a continuing education offering, increasing Omnipod adoption in accounts. Partners with accounts to ensure Omnipod is offered as a first choice alternative to MDI. Works with TM to achieve/exceed NCS targets for the territory. Manages patient trainings with clinics and conducts patient training based on business needs of territory and timeliness of training. Implements sales & marketing plans at a territory level. Works in conjunction with Sales, Customer Care, and Inside sales to achieve sales goals. Explains the patient pathway on how to access Omnipod through private and subscription pathways. Assists with events such as pump clinics, pump support groups, info sessions, in-the-office educational events, patient info nights, vendor days, etc. Supports Target Accounts, new and existing accounts and diabetes marketplace partnerships. Builds loyalty & trust by delivering meaningful clinical education and value-based discussions. Assists with providing regular product demos to patients (In person and virtually). Assists with product training/certification for new and existing Endos, NPs and CPTs as required. Provides Field Feedback/Intel to TM and SLT on field-based training of customers and HCPs. Conducts Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) Program calls to Insulet's customers who have commenced or plan to be commenced on Insulet's Omnipod products to obtain consent and/or collect PRO data. Performs administrative duties including boot stock ordering/event planning with Marketing. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Minimum Requirements: Current professional credentials and/or certifications are mandatory: i.e. Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Dietician or Science specialties. Prior industry/commercial experience strongly preferred. (Minimum of 2 years of experience) Professional and polished presentation skills. Strong interpersonal communications, both oral and written. Self-starter who needs minimal direction; extremely flexible, with good business acumen. Strong contributing member of the commercial team. Credibility and contacts within the diabetes community. Proficiency with computers. Physical Requirements: Valid driver's license required. Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned area. This position requires regular business travel mostly by car within a set geographic region. Overnight travel may be required. (2-3 Days per month)
