A fantastic opportunity is being presented to appoint a suitably qualified and motivated professional to the role of Clinical Services Manager of Barossa Village in the Residential Aged Care Facility. Just an hour's drive northeast of the Adelaide airport, it is a great opportunity to work in a community minded town and within a reasonable distance from the metro suburbs.

As the new Clinical Services Manager of Barossa Village, you will have the support of a strong clinical leadership team, an experienced General Manager and a well-established Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:Provide a leadership role in the approach to clinical care.Responsible for developing and executing a training plan in clinical care.Effectively leading, coaching and managing Registered Nurses to enable them to perform at the level required of the organisation.Actively participate in quality activities that ensure the provision of excellent care recipient outcomes including compliance with accreditation standards.Monitoring of clinical systems, identifying and presenting trends to staff on a monthly basis by actively reviewing:Accuracy, currency and completeness of care recipient clinical assessments.Management of clinical issues including incidents, falls, weights, wounds.Clinical care audits show systems are monitored and changed if required.Ideally, we are seeking an inspirational leader and manager with a strong clinical background, with aged care experience. Outcome driven and focussed, you will need to demonstrate risk and compliance management and have the ability to deliver on key focus areas, while actively working to build trust and respect within the team. Your sound communication skills and collaborative approach will see you establish and maintain outstanding working relationships with key stakeholders. You will require balanced judgement in prioritising tasks and future clinical projects relevant to the needs of the home and aligned with the vision and objectives of the Strategic Directions Plan.
