Join RSPCA South Australia as a Clinical Services Manager and lead our dedicated Veterinary team in providing exceptional animal care for both domestic and wildlife patients.
In this newly created senior leadership role, you will oversee clinical governance, drive best practices, and implement innovative systems that enhance the welfare of animals while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Your strategic vision and leadership will contribute to the achievement of RSPCA SA's objectives and the continuous improvement of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Head of Animal Operations to develop strategic and business plans, manage the Veterinary Services budget, and provide monthly performance reports.Provide leadership and coaching to the Veterinary and Behaviour teams.Develop a cohesive, dedicated and high-performing team.Clinical Governance:Ensure compliance with RSPCA policies and South Australian regulations, develop corporate clinical standards, and implement risk management processes to maintain high-quality clinical services.Best Practice Animal Care:Research and implement industry best practices, leading the Veterinary Team in optimizing animal care processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Identify and develop partnerships with external stakeholders to expand clinical services and maximise the utilisation of the RSPCA SA Veterinary Centre.Operational Coordination:Manage best practice triage and clinical care, track animal progress through clinical procedures, and support large-scale operations for animal seizures and rescues.Analyse data to drive strategic decisions, identify reputational risks, and implement a continuous improvement plan.Strong teamwork and collaboration skillsResults-oriented with a positive attitude towards changeExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesResilience in high-pressure situationsA genuine passion for improving animal care and welfareExperience & Knowledge: Proven experience in managing diverse stakeholders and building cohesive and high-performing teams.Strong analytical skills with attention to detailDemonstrated problem-solving abilities and commitment to process improvementPrevious experience in a similar roleExperience in a veterinary or animal welfare organisation is desirableRequirements: Flexibility for additional hours or weekend work as neededAbility to travel intrastate/interstateCurrent Class C driver's licenseWhy Join Us?
