About the Role:Reporting to the Executive Director Aboriginal Health, you will provide pivotal coordination of patient care delivery in the Aboriginal Health Pathway within Aboriginal Health.
Some of your responsibilities may involve: Delivering culturally focused primary health care via a range of preventive and health promoting programs in the community.
Local resource management of staff, food s and services and operations of the clinics.
Ensuring culturally appropriate, equitable and comprehensive primary health care and the effective management of chronic disease o Aboriginal patients/clients.
About you: Demonstrated ability to participate and contribute to key decision making processes at a senior level.
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate and at least 3-years post-registration experience.
Significant experience in working in a nursing leadership role with the Aboriginal community, Aboriginal and mainstream service providers.
Experience working with clients with complex chronic disease.
Experience in Human Resource Management and the financial asset management of a ward/unit.
