Job DescriptionAre you a healthcare professional seeking a leadership opportunity in a community setting where you can make a positive difference to people impacted by blood cancer? We are seeking an experienced healthcare leader to take on a 12-month parental leave contract in the role of Clinical Services Manager. This role will be responsible for leading the VIC, TAS, WA and SA region and associated Supportive Care Case Managers to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality supportive care services to people impacted by blood cancer.
This is a full-time fixed-term contract based out of our Melbourne Office in Carlton. This role has the flexibility to work from home one day a week.
What we will trust you with: Leading a cohesive and motivated team which delivers safe, high-quality, patient-centred supportive care services.Improving patient outcomes through effective assessment, care planning, and comprehensive support.Ensuring an optimal consumer experience is delivered.Ensuring an efficient use of resources, ensuring that the supportive care program is sustainable and responsive to patient needs.Continuous improvement in service delivery through strategic initiatives and quality assurance processes.Enhanced collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders is achieved.Does this sound like you? Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing (RN), Psychology, or Dietetics.Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration or eligibility for membership of respective professional body.Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.The ability to deliver leadership and lead a team that is both local and interstate.Demonstrated experience in providing supportive care or working with individuals with chronic illnesses, preferably within oncology or hematology.In-depth knowledge of blood cancer, blood cancer optimal care pathways and the supportive care needs of people impacted by blood cancer across the continuum of care.The ability to lead key projects and initiatives as directed with broad direction.Excellent critical thinking, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in utilising IT systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with specialised software relevant to the position.Relevant skills and ability to analyse and use service activity data to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for quality improvement.Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate patient records.Postgraduate qualifications in cancer and/or leadership & management.Experience managing a dispersed team.Experience in program development and implementation.If you're interested in this exciting role, please send a one-page cover letter addressing the essential requirements of the role and your CV in PDF via the apply button on Seek or through the Leukaemia Foundation website.
