Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members.
Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree, and Leigh Creek.

In this pivotal role, you'll drive improvements in service quality, safety, and community-focused distribution, collaborating with allied health staff, managers, and key stakeholders to enhance models of care and workforce development initiatives.
The Occupational Therapist (AHP2) leverages extensive clinical experience and a blend of generalist and specialist knowledge to deliver a comprehensive and integrated range of services tailored to the needs of the local community.
Working with increased autonomy, you'll plan, implement, and evaluate these services, and may also provide clinical supervision to less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students.
Must hold a recognised qualification within the Occupational Therapy profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.AHP3 Responsibilities: Bring extensive knowledge as a Rural Generalist or within a specific discipline, providing complex clinical and consultancy services across FUNLHN.Demonstrate professional independence and clinical competence, utilizing advanced reflective-practice skills.Apply a deep understanding of FUNLHN's strategic directions and service delivery challenges.Offer strategic advice to management on service development and practice redesign.AHP2 Responsibilities: Apply your professional expertise and develop generalist and specialist knowledge.Exercise sound professional judgment in selecting and adapting established methods.Offer a wide range of clinical and consultative services across various settings.Effectively manage and prioritize your own workload while supporting others.Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances) The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working including part-time.
