We are looking for a passionate and driven Clinical Quality Manager to join our dedicated Patient Safety and Quality Team.
Our team is at the forefront of ensuring the highest standards of care, fostering a culture of safety, and continuously enhancing practices to support our frontline teams in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
As champions of patient safety, we focus on identifying and mitigating risks, learning from incidents, and implementing evidence-based strategies to improve outcomes.
Through data analysis, audits, and collaboration with healthcare partners, we ensure our services remain safe, efficient, and aligned with the highest standards of care.

The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) based at our Belmont offices (flexible working options/ hours can be considered).
What you'll do: As a Clinical Quality Manager, you will:
Implement and support the clinical governance framework approved by St John WADevelop and promote strategies that drive a culture of patient safety and quality across the organisationOversee Clinical Incident reporting systems, ensuring timely reviews, analyses, and follow-up actions to reduce harm and prevent recurrenceMonitor and analyse patient safety data, identifying trends to drive evidence-based improvementsProvide education and training to team members on patient safety principles and reporting systemsEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards (e.g., National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards)Lead audits, quality reviews, and patient safety initiatives to ensure continual improvementPartner with the Quality Improvement team and collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to identify improvement areas and develop actionable plans to mitigate risksBuild and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders to support patient safety and quality objectivesParticipate in multidisciplinary committees and working groups focused on patient safety, quality improvement, and risk managementWhat you'll need: Essential A degree in a relevant healthcare field (e.g., nursing, healthcare management, public health)Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and prepare reports with actionable insightsExceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsDesirable Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant fieldDemonstrated knowledge of National Safety & Quality Health Service StandardsExperience leading change and fostering a culture of safety in complex clinical environmentsProven understanding of patient safety, risk management practices, and quality standardsThe Process: Prospective candidates will need to submit their application online.
