What we need A highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as ourClinical Quality Coordinator. The role is permanent part time (0.6FTE) and will be based in the South of the State working across both Bishop Davies Court and Barossa Park Lodge with the opportunity to work full time by adding Registered Nurse shifts.
What will you do? Reporting to the Manager of Quality and Compliance your rolewill include:
Support Services prepare for and maintain accreditation standards (ACQSC & NDIS)Provide mentorship to novice managersUndertake quality initiatives including continuous improvement, psychotropic and register upkeep, and supporting each service to put into practice recommendations from quality reportsDevelop, design and implement quality clinical initiatives across residential and homecare services to meet all legislation and clinical care standards in the delivery of health and agreed outcomes to our consumers and participants.Assist services to develop and implement quality systems and continuous improvements plansAssist services to use quality data to inform and implement improvementsMentor senior clinical staff at all services to strengthen and improve contemporary practiceProvide regular and adhoc reports as requiredProvide advice and training in relation to clinical compliance to meet legislative requirementsWhat you bring to the role Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration with no conditionsStrong leadership and management skills and the ability to build capabilityDemonstrated experience in management roles within the aged care or health sectorsSolid understanding of Aged Care and NDIS regulatory frameworkAged Care nursing experience minimum 3 yearsWorking knowledge of AutumnCare or similar electronic care systemSound judgement and analytical skillsPost graduate qualification in Aged Care (desirable)Current Working with Vulnerable People Check NDIS endorsedCurrent Australian Driver's licence as there is travel within the roleWhat you get in return Competitive remuneration with access to not-for profit salary packaging up to $18,550 per FBT year.Ongoing professional development opportunities, including access to our scholarship program.Rewarding role working for a highly respected Tasmanian not-for-profit organisation which is a leader in the aged care sector.Access to Employee Assistance Program for you and your family, discounted private health, plus ongoing health and wellbeing activitiesAt OneCare, we care deeply about our residents, our staff and the jobs we do each day.
