Part-time (1 day per week) contract until 30 June 2025 Join a passionate team, dedicated to supporting young people & their families Attractive Hourly Rate + Super + generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550 Are you a skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about helping young people overcome mental health challenges?
As a Clinical Psychologist at headspace, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
Your key deliverables will include:
Providing short to medium term counselling using evidence-based therapies such as Single Session Therapy, DBT, and CBT Actively working with young people to facilitate their recovery and development goals Conducting risk assessments and safety planning to address issues related to family violence, mental health, and substance misuse Collaboration is at the heart of our approach, and you will engage in prompt and collaborative correspondence with referring doctors and specialists.
You will also utilize the latest evidence to inform your clinical practice, ensuring that you are equipped with the most effective therapeutic interventions.
As part of our team, you will participate in regular clinical case review meetings and multi-disciplinary team meetings, ensuring that our clinical service pathways and service delivery are appropriate and effective.
Your expertise will also extend to completing psychometric testing to assess ADHD and ASD and interpreting and producing respective reports related to testing.

Full registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a fully registered Clinical Psychologist A deep understanding of evidence-based interventions and clinical practice, including CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, or IPT Experience in the provision of mental health care, including mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and short-term treatment interventions Certification in DBT and CBT Additionally, your highly developed communication skills will enable you to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and build vibrant partnerships with a range of people.
