The redeveloped ward provided an opportunity to create a contemporary Allied Health workforce model aimed at supporting improved recovery outcomes for Trauma and Orthopaedic patients.
The Ward 5 West Allied Health team includes clinicians from various disciplines and works closely with the Nursing and Medical teams to provide a comprehensive and timely service to patients on Ward 5 West.
What you'll be doing In this role, you will provide a full range of clinical psychology services to patients on ward 5 WEST. Liaison and collaborative work with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, particularly with other psychosocial teams/services, is an essential aspect of the position. You will participate in professional development and service development activities and function as a senior member of The Alfred Health Psychology Department.
About you Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology General Registration as a Psychologist and endorsement as a Clinical Psychology under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009 Approved Supervisor status with Psychology Board of Australia A minimum of five years experience working as a psychologist Australian working rights and be willing to undergo a Background Check Full Covid-19 and 2024 Influenza vaccination Other benefits Salary Packaging & Novated Leasing through Maxxia.
