Clinical Psychologist (Grade 1 & 2) - Child Development Service Salary: HSO Grade 1 $101,343 - $109,579 or Grade 2 $119,290 - $140,249 p.a. pro rata

This is an open-ended recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

The Child Development Service is seeking friendly, passionate and skilled Clinical Psychologist Registrars (Grade 1) and Clinical Psychologists (Grade 2) who can support infants, children and young people with developmental concerns to reach their full potential.
The available positions offer the opportunity for clinicians to provide individual assessments and treatment, participate in group-based interventions and also to be part of a multi-disciplinary team undertaking joint assessments and/or interventions. There will be opportunities to develop skills in diagnostic assessments, particularly in relation to autism spectrum disorder.
About Child Development Service: The Child Development Service provides multidisciplinary assessment and intervention services to infants, children and young people with developmental delay or difficulties that impact on function, participation and/or the parent-child relationship. Clinicians adopt a child and family-centred approach, working in partnership with families to address developmental concerns that are of priority to the family.
Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. Fixed term and/or casual contracts can be held by individuals on visas that allow working rights within Australia.
