Clinical Psychologist / Forensic Psychology / Psychologist (Private Practice) Mindstate Psychology is expanding! This busy private practice specializes in evidence-based clinical treatment and is developing a reputation as the go-to place for assessment. We have a model which allows you to develop your own practice and interests within this busy practice.
The practice has been developed by Dr. Phil Watts (director), a high-profile psychologist with 35 years of experience as both a forensic psychologist and clinical psychologist. Due to expanding need, Dr. Watts is keen to start one or two clinicians who have varied experiences and are comfortable working independently in a supportive environment.
We are currently looking for a clinician 3 - 5 days per week who wants to do treatment. Mindstate gets a range of client referrals - the work is interesting and varied. We love EMDR trained people, and Mindstate gets a lot of trauma referrals among a varied caseload. Those who are interested in working with children are especially valued.
Perhaps you have some other area of specialist skill and would like to develop it to complement our existing services. We are interested in people who may work with Autism or do autistic spectrum assessments as the team does not have this specialty. We are open for discussion.
We have 13 consulting rooms, a neurofeedback clinic, and a high-tech training room if you want to run groups. There are 4 separate waiting rooms so clients do not feel overwhelmed. The office is in a central location in South Perth with free staff parking for all practitioners. It is close to the zoo, freeway, and a park.
Mindstate Psychology has a great team spirit. We need you to fit into the team environment. We hold team lunches regularly. Practitioners get free access to Dr. Watts' training workshops. We run some professional development in-house at times.
Plenty of work is available, and generally, you can get busy quickly in about 3 months! We can help you develop everything you need to run a successful private practice with generous returns for your efforts. Terms and nature of the facility fee are available on discussion (essentially, the more you work, the more you earn).
Note that Mindstate Psychology is not a corporate structure or franchise but Dr. Phil's own business which he is striving for excellence as a workplace and practice.
