Location: Perth Children's Hospital, NedlandsUnit/Division: CAHS Procurement, Infrastructure and Contract ManagementWork Type: Fixed Term - Full Time, Permanent - Full TimeThis is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time and Fixed Term Full Time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.We currently have a Permanent role available to fill.VCID No.940185Position Profile: We are seeking a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to join our CAHS Procurement and Contract Management Team.As the Clinical Product Advisor, you will be responsible for providing a liaison service regarding procurement of clinical products and services to ensure standardisation, cost effectiveness and minimisation of risk to CAHS. You will assist with complex procurement and management of clinical products, goods and services ensuring relevant stakeholders are engaged and compliance requirements and objectives met. Your key responsibilities will include:Evaluate, develop and implement effective communication channels with Health Service Support (HSS); Perth Children's Hospital (PCH); and other areas within CAHS regarding the operational procurement of clinical products.Facilitate the development, evaluation and implementation of health service policies and guidelines for the supply chain management of clinical products.Provide advice and support to clinical areas in relation to imprest stock management, review and standardisation of clinical products where appropriate, working closely with Health Support Services-Supply Chain.Coordinate the management of clinical product recalls and complaints.Initiate, develop and implement best practice to ensure standardisation, cost effectiveness and minimisation of risk associated with the procurement of clinical products.Identification and review of the standard of clinical products with CAHS.Actively participate in the CAHS Product Evaluation and Standardisation Committee.Provide specialist advice on clinical contract development and management issues.The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is proud to be the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, as the State's only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people.
