The Opportunity: Reporting to National Clinical Practice andCare Manager, the Clinical Practice and Care Advisor will partner and support the Service Delivery Team with ongoing application of Claro's Clinical Governance Framework including Quality, Risk & Safety Management Systems of our disability and aged clients.
To be successful in this role you will require extensive experience in community or rehabilitation nursing and demonstrated ability to support best practice in Service Delivery teams and high-quality service outcomes for our disability and aged clients.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to: Act as the regional subject matter expert for clinical matters, including clinical care, clinical incidents, clinical complaints, and clinical risk.Writing and overseeing the implementation of customer support plans and care with service delivery teamsReviewing customer clinical support needs in their homes and supported accommodation settings.Work with stakeholders to support and upskill customer care planning, risk assessment and contributing to the development of behaviour support plans as required in line with compliance.Establish and foster relationships with staff to ensure quality is embedded within support worker practice and all organisational programs and activities.Collaborate with the learning and development team to ensure training is clinically sound, and reflects the principles of independence, choice and control, and person- centred support.Support the development and review of Claro's Clinical policy and procedures.To be successful in this role you will have: Current AHPRA Nursing RegistrationSignificant demonstrable experience in providing clinical advice to service delivery teams.Well-developed knowledge and experience of the aged care or disability services sectorAdvanced written, verbal and negotiation skills.Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of independence and autonomy.Well-developed time management skills ensuring stakeholder expectations are met.Preparedness to work within Claro Philosophy, Values & Mission.Desirable: Demonstrated experience in Community and/or Rehabilitation Nursing.Demonstrated experience working within the Disability SectorAdditional Requirements: National Police Records CheckNDIS Worker Screen or willingness to obtainEvidence of work rightsPreparedness to undertake intra and interstate travelWhat's in it for you: 9-day working fortnight for real work-life-balanceOpportunity to work for the nation's largest health and aged care provider, with a rapidly growing and progressive visionFriendly team environment with a great community care spiritEmployee Assistance Program for staff and their familiesHow to apply
