As an Experienced Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service, support quality use of medicines, delivery of education to our multidisciplinary team, and provide medicines information to patients and carers. You'll have the chance to develop and utilise your clinical pharmacy skills to have a genuine impact on lives of our patients.

This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacistto join our dynamic team at Port Macquarie Base Hospital Pharmacy! You will be working within aNSW Health Public Hospitalin the beautiful Hastings Macleay region, and will provide pharmacy services to Port Macquarie Base Hospital, Kempsey District Hospital, and Wauchope Hospital.

Port Macquarie Base Hospital is the primary location for this role. Port Macquarie Base Hospital is a 228 bed level five facility with a 24-hour Emergency Department and a range of specialist serviced including intensive care, cardiology, geriatric, rheumatology, stroke, respiratory, oncology, renal dialysis, general medicine, orthopaedic, urology, vascular, general surgery, mental health, paediatrics and obstetrics.

As an AHPRA registered pharmacist with a minimum of 2 years of Australian based hospital pharmacy experience, you will have a team orientated attitude, a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to patients, and the ability to manage your own workload with good communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of health professionals. You will be highly driven and have high attention to detail and a passion for building on your clinical skills and knowledge.

Our successful applicants will be supported by a network of pharmacists, including the Director of Pharmacy and Team Leader Pharmacist. Access to regular education is an integral part of our workplace, including ward in-services, Grand Rounds and national Icon Group sessions.
