Darwin Private Hospital is looking for suitably qualified Clinical Nurse Specialists to join our established Recovery department.
Responsibilities: Deliver quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care.Provide a high standard of care according to the individual's level of experience and education while maintaining high-quality nursing care within a safe environment.Develop and utilise strategies that encourage effective communication.Assist the NUM of Recovery and DSU in the development, coordination, and facilitation of education programs, quality activities, HR duties, and WH&S and risk assessments across the recovery and DSU.Adhere to the 8 NSQHS Clinical standards and be a driving force in quality and safety initiatives.Qualifications: High level interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Positive attitude and ability to work in a team as well as independently.Desire to provide a high standard of service.Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.Current Registration with AHPRA.Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (anaesthetics and recovery)/Critical Care (or working towards).Working with Children check.Commitment to Quality Patient Care.Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.Minimum 5 years post-grad experience in Recovery/DSU or critical care environment.If successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and the Darwin Private Hospital - Nurses and Midwives - Enterprise Agreement (approximately $52.09 per hour, $103,000 p.a.
