Clinical Nurse Specialist - Pain Management

Unit/Division: South West - Surgical Services - Acute Pain
Work Type: Permanent - Part Time, Permanent - Full Time
We currently have one (1) Permanent Full-Time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight available where job share may be considered. Position Profile: Plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates specialist nursing functions within Acute Pain Service. Promotes excellence in clinical standards and quality care for patients requiring advances and completed Acute Pain Service techniques and management within Busselton Hospital and in a consultancy role across the South West coastal district.
To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate nursing policies and guidelines using research findings to support evidence-based practice Demonstrated well developed analytical, problem solving and leadership skills. Demonstrated well-developed communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated incorporation of quality and risk management within practice.
