Join our Primary Health Care team today! · Permanent, temporary – fulltime/part-time · Fortnightly income between $4138.10 - $4431.10 p.f (full-time) or $54.44 - $58.30 p.h (part-time) · Rural and remote experience ABOUT THE ROLE The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Specialist Outpatients Department (SOPD) at Iningai Clinic at Longreach will be responsible for providing clinical expertise in clinic coordination and management of referrals to enhance patient access to Telehealth and Specialist Outpatient Clinics. Clinical Prioritisation Criteria (CPC) and Smart Referrals are used to enhance appropriate patient access to Specialist Outpatients and telehealth appointments within the Central West Hospital and Health Service (CWHHS). This would also include knowledge of alternate services both internally and externally for patients to access CWHHS. We prioritise staff development and opportunities to experience new roles.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as an Registered Nurse (RN). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of employment.
• Highly desirable: Experience in Primary Health/Chronic Disease/Specialist Outpatients.
• Highly desirable: Tertiary qualifications in a related field is highly desirable or be enrolled at
commencement of employment with a completion date on/before the first 18 months of commencement of employment.
