This is for a Permanent or Fixed Term appointment at various hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Oncology team at Geraldton Health Campus – Midwest. To be successful, you will have... Act as an Oncology Haematology resource person for staff and patients and their significant others throughout the region.Provides clinical oncology haematology nursing knowledge and care coordination across the organisation.Demonstrates leadership and role modelling.Promotes maintenance of clinical standard setting and monitoring, policy development and change management as required to improve the patient's management.Position Profile:
Contributes to development, implementation and analysis of Research and best practice guidelines for cancer care that support the delivery of appropriate clinical care within the region. Plans and facilitates cancer activities in collaboration with site-based cancer clinical nurses and clinical portfolio holders. Actively participates in and provides expert support to the regional Cancer Clinical Governance Group Committee.
