An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist – Mental Health Liaison to join the Midwest Mental Health & CADS team at Geraldton Health Campus – Midwest. Position Profile

This role will establish and maintain high quality standards of patient care by leadership, delivery of care and role modelling in accordance with policies and procedures. Act as a clinical resource to staff across the hospital. Provide expert clinical assessment, screening, follow-up and care as required.

Extensive knowledge and experience of mental health disorders and provision of evidence-based treatment in acute and community settings.Significant experience in crisis intervention and the prioritising, and management of psychiatric and non-psychiatric emergencies in complex situations.Knowledge and skills in the implementation of the WA Mental Health Act and legislation affecting clinical practice.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and use effective communication and interpersonal skills. As well as a detailed CV that clearly shows your experience relevant to this role and the names and contact details of two (2) professional referees - preferable for one to be your current/recent supervisor or manager.
