Clinical Nurse Specialist – Mental Health Liaison

This is for a Permanent or Fixed Term Fulltime appointment at 80 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Position Profile: This role will establish and maintain high quality standards of patient care by leadership, delivery of care and role modelling in accordance with policies and procedures.
Act as a clinical resource to staff across the hospital.
Provide expert clinical assessment, screening, follow-up and care as required.
Area Profile: The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Midwest health region of Western Australia covers more than 470,000 square kilometres, nearly one fifth of the State, with its population concentrated along the coast.
The region is located in the northern middle section of Western Australia and incorporates three health districts - Gascoyne, Geraldton, Midwest and Murchison, is recognised for its unique natural environment and is a culturally diverse region with Aboriginal people representing 13% of the overall population.
